 Dear Member: 

Thank you for being a valued family member of our YMCA. We are writing to communicate changes in the Y’s membership structure that will affect you and your family. 

Because you have not made any changes to your membership since 2007, you have had the opportunity to enjoy a Family Draft Bundled Membership, which we stopped offering in January 2008. Effective Sept. 1, the draft rate for this membership category is being changed. 

What does this mean for you? You can continue to opt for the bundled program, in which your children may participate in unlimited swim lessons and sports programs at no additional program cost, but your monthly draft will change to $85.42/month. Depending on your family’s program participation, however, it may be to your advantage to convert your membership to a regular Family Draft, which is just $63/month. If you choose the draft option, you will pay member rates for sports and swim, but these fees will be half of what our non-member participants pay. Either way, your membership gives you full access to all of our branches and to most Y’s in the country through the AWAY Program. 

You will need to make a choice before your September draft. In the meantime, feel free to stop by the front desk to discuss your options. A member of our membership staff will be contacting you via phone next week to see if you have any questions at this time.
